Recently, TMZ caught up with Drake’s father, Dennis Graham while leaving Starbucks, and wearing none other than a “Nothing Was The Same’ hoodie. One of the camera men happen to ask Mr. Graham if he’s ever given input or made any music with Drake, he quickly replied “I have! We just did a song together,”
For those that don’t know, Dennis Graham was once the drummer for “rock & roll’s first great wild man” Jerry Lee Lewis. In a recent article for XXL Drake said ‘I’m living my dad’s dream. My dad wanted to be a famous singer…All he wants to do is go to Beale Street in Memphis and play music. He’s rediscovered his passion for music and for being a musician.’
It was said that Drake was originally going to feature his father on a bonus song called ‘ Heat Of The Moment’ for the deluxe edition of ‘Nothing Was The Same’, but as you see that didn’t happen. Recently a preview of the song began to circulate the web, which has people wondering if the song will make it’s full debut soon.
