With Anchorman 2 recently being released about a week before Christmas, Will Ferrell chimes in on what it was like to work the outspoken rapper.
In a recent interview with Huffington Post in NYC, Ferrell revealed that it was a pleasure to work with West also including:
“It was very surreal to have Kanye — who’s such a big fan of comedy — in our movie hanging out for two days”, he said. “He was playing the new tracks a lot — over and over. Even when you’re trying to film, he’s playing the tracks.”
He jokingly continued on to say: “We got a scared 18-year-old intern to ask him to turn them down.”
Ferrell even weighed in on Kanye’s work-ethic.
“He’s kind of the most prolific, creative person I’ve ever been around because while he was offset he was on the phone, talking about a photo shoot, he was writing down music lyrics for another thing. His mind I think is constantly working.”
